Fredericton: the Place to Live Need more space? Move or Renovate?
Apr 03

Congratulations, you are now 60 years old or close to it. You probably left New Brunswick 40 years ago to find work and now find yourself with a large home in a crowded city.
Have you ever thought how nice it would be to come back to New Brunswick? Fredericton New Brunswick, to be more specific.
We have the greatest lifestyle of any place on the planet. If you live in Fredericton you are never more than 20 minutes away from anything. We had quite a bit of snow this winter, but that just makes the Spring that much better!
New Brunswick is the only bilingual province in Canada.
There is no rush hour in Fredericton, traffic gets a little heavy around 5 PM but never gridlock like some busy centres.
Fredericton is a smart community with wireless communication available in the city.
We have a good steady economy with the 2 Universities, Provincial Government, and its close proximity to Oromocto, the home of CFB Gagetown.
Real estate is still very much affordable here. There are great houses downtown, with lots of character and within walking distance of everything. The walking trails in Fredericton are second to none.
There are many new sub-divisions as well with gorgeous new and fairly new homes at fair market prices. Or go for a quaint little place in the country with enough land to grow your own organic vegetables.
Or perhaps you dream of being able to watch the beautiful St. John River flow by, it is great for boating, swimming, fishing, etc.
